Awesome
This thing is totally awesome. --KharBevNor 07:39, 17 June 2006 (EDT)

Battle of Teh Bands
Could we add the battle of teh bands to things of note? --E. Spaceman 13:11, 25 June 2006 (EDT)
Scrabble
Should Scrabble be in the list of Things of Note? I feel like it should, although the list is getting a bit crowded. --Jhocking 12:02, 8 August 2006 (EDT)
The main page needs categories! And parallel vertical columns of stuff! Differently coloured columns of stuff! There could be a column of wiki specific stuff like the battle, blogs, and beards, a column for forum things like memorabilia and the user list, and a column for things QC forum people like to do elsewhere online, like Gabbly & Scrabbly, and that fridge magnet thing! I will stop using exclamation marks now. --slick 22:45, 9 August 2006 (EDT)
- Seconded. I'm willing to thrown in some of the coding work too... --Flag of Fire 01:14, 10 August 2006 (EDT)
- Here ya go... It's just a sample, but it's complete. Main Page --Flag of Fire 01:48, 10 August 2006 (EDT)
- I don't know about the colors, but otherwise I like it. Although, it's a bit dense. Maybe more space between the columns would make it easier to read.--Jhocking 10:28, 11 August 2006 (EDT)
- I stole the colors from a previous wikipedia design. As far as the density, I was just trying to get it to fit on a 1024x768 screen w/ minimal scrolling. --Flagoffire 18:15, 11 August 2006 (EDT)
- I've implemented Flagoffire's changes to the main page.--Nihilist 12:29, 11 August 2006 (EDT)
index.php
Any thoughts on getting rid of 'index.php'? I think it looks cleaner, and from the server side it's not too much work. --DevastatorIIC 06:23, 13 August 2006 (EDT)
- Would it make much difference? I mean there is already a URL for it and most pages that are looked at are either a click or two away from the main page, or found by using random page? It seems like some unnecessary work. --Nolaw nocrime 09:28, 13 August 2006 (EDT)
- Pretty much no difference; just an appearance thing. Took me about two minutes to set it up on my machine. No biggie :) --DevastatorIIC 01:50, 15 August 2006 (EDT)
- Would it break existing links to the wiki or just redirect? If it's the latter, I have no problem with it. --Flagoffire 00:14, 16 August 2006 (EDT)
- If you do it via the first version, url.com/index.php/Article redirects to url.com/wiki/Article. If you use any of the other versions, it breaks. --DevastatorIIC 23:46, 16 August 2006 (EDT)
- Hmmm... Wait, is this apache? If so, mod_rewrite may keep it from breaking. just trigger it on '/index.php/' and have it rewrite it to '/' with the remaining path appended. --Flagoffire09:29, 17 August 2006 (EDT)
- If you do it via the first version, url.com/index.php/Article redirects to url.com/wiki/Article. If you use any of the other versions, it breaks. --DevastatorIIC 23:46, 16 August 2006 (EDT)
- Anybody got the mod_rewrite shit to do it? I can jack it in this evening... Nihilist 11:44, 5 October 2006 (EDT)
QCTitle
FoF, please add [[Image:Qctitle.jpg]] centered at the top please. (image not by me) --DoubleAW 23:12, 15 August 2006 (EDT)
- I can't... it's not bad, but I'm not an admin. Anyone else care to vote? --Flag of Fire 00:11, 16 August 2006 (EDT)
- aw, thanks to you guys for the redesign and text logo, but not to me for the ball in the corner? *sniff* --Jhocking 21:37, 21 August 2006 (EDT)
- no one likes you joe hocking. Tommydski 13:40, 22 August 2006 (EDT)
Why do you always use my full name? It sounds like you're scolding me.
...
You are scolding me, aren't you? --Jhocking 14:52, 22 August 2006 (EDT)
Forum Rules
Can we have a link to the Forum Rules on the main page? --Luke
Uploads
Is it just me, or are uploads borked? I saw gemwah messing around with her image and tried to upload it to fix it for her, but it seems like I can't upload without an error, and I assume that's the same case with her. --slick 11:08, 2 November 2006 (EST)
- just tick the little box marked 'ignore errors' before you submit. trust me it works. Tommydski 16:09, 2 November 2006 (EST)
Non-registered editing?
Can we ban that? There's no reason for anyone who isn't registered to edit our wiki, unless of course we all like sections of it being replaced with xanax ads? --slick 13:43, 15 December 2006 (EST)
I second that, this is not the first time that someone's fucked up the forum rules page with ads. There's no reason that people shouldn't have to register before they fuck up our quiki. Corcarpemei 20:23, 15 December 2006 (CST)
- I am amused that that edit came from an non-logged-in I.P. address. --slick 02:36, 16 December 2006 (EST)
Link to the forum
The link to the main page of the forum is borked. --Johnny C 12:20, 23 December 2006 (EST)
