Snogging

It is always the subject of hot debate as to whether snogging is more or less intense/inappropriate for children under 13/fun/disgusting/hot than the vaguely synonymous American "making out". Both apparently involve kissing-with-tongues ("French-kissing", from American slang, but never from the British for the obvious reason that something so awesome could not possibly have been invented by Frogs), but no one is quite sure whether one or either or both involves simultaneous fondling and light petting and possible hip thrusting.
