Background:

Hartley Kelly AKA Runs_with_scissors is 16 years old and is not really of much interest. Residing in the extreme weathers of Alaska and Oregon (depending on the part of the year) she tends to post erratically because of her frequent location change. She is also known to be a constant as a welcomer for the new QC'ers, and tends to stick to that part of the forum. Other hobbies (other than foruming) include playing ice and roller hockey, riding her horse (Tess), doing photography, and other geeky type things. RWS thinks best in the shower and recently broke her addiction to text.

Meat Life:

Hartley was born in Portland, Maine in the early 90's, and then moved around a bit until her parents settled on the cosmic hamlet by the sea, otherwise known as Homer, Alaska. No RWS is not an Eskimo, and no she does not ride polar bears or live in an igloo. She found QC after a move to Anchorage in 8th grade, and has been addicted to it since then. For a large portion of her time on QC, she had also been in therapy, which would explain some of her odd behaviors and such. She mostly posts using the school computers, and got gabbly blocked at her school, accidentally.

Internet Life:

RWS is currently addicted to A Softer World, XKCD, So Common So Cheap, and QC. Though she enjoys Penny Arcade at times, and also the links to Achewood that Dirk Hopeless and others post around the forum. She also frequents Flickr and Myspace, which she is also addicted to. Modes of communication include Google Talk or MSN messenger, but Gabbly is currently off limits.
